I'm surprised at the lack of posts on here. I just discovered this on Netflix and was cracking up. I've been hoping for a movie like this since Girls Will Be Girls, which reminds me, I loved Jack Plotnick's role and performance in this. Thank you makers of this film for something fresh and funny. If anyone knows of other movies like this, please let me know. It'd be awesome if these guys make more movies. And the reason I titled my post the way I did is because Cassie's lines after this made me laugh so hard, I nearly sexy juiced myself.

Oh man the ''sexy juiced'' bit was hilarious! I swear there are so many lines in this movie that are instantly quotable.

It's funny you mention Girls Will Be Girls, after I watched First Period and I gave that one a go too.

i need to watch it again. i put it on in the background while i drew (most of the time i do this the movie i watch never catches my attention) and i still payed attention and laughed outloud several times. i need to watch it again without doing other things now.

Brandon Alexander III ( screenwriter and "Cassie" ) has already written 2 more screenplays that I plan to direct... plus, he is the KING or One-liners!

Agreed. When I saw that he played Cassie, and wrote the script, I made a mental note to keep an eye out for anything he does in the future. I think Cassie and Maggie are my favorite duo since Patsy and Edina. There could be a Cassie youtube channel and I would watch it religiously. Hooray to you guys making more stuff! I look forward to seeing it!

Same here if it wasn't for netflix I would have never seen the gem that is first period. A sequel would be great :D

I just watched First Period on New Year's Eve/New Year's Day and loved the film! There were some jokes I wasn't really sure about, but the characters had charm, heart and I loved their facial expressions the most--particularly Cassie's!
