Defies all human sensibilities, logic and instincts...

Okay. I'm about halfway in and I just have to stop and write this. I can suspend my disbelief but I cant take too many leaps when this movie is requiring me to accept that...

1. Douchebag guy decides he wants to trespass, admittedly to get his stuff back which I was okay with but as soon as they get in the basement the girl suddenly wantd to stay and explore. After he practically had to drag her ass in there.

2. Douchebag guy decides it is okay to leave his wife alone with no car in the woods with crazy scarecrow guy just so he can talk to a bunch of people he could wikipedia or snapchat with.

3. Silly woman with nice rack decides she is going to explore at night around crazy scarecrow guy and suddenly has no fear whatsoever.

4. Dude goes back to house, down into basement and into catacombs and out of walkie range knowing he could easily get lost and get caught by scarecrow guy.

Are peope really this brave/stupid in real life? How many of you would do the same things?

The film pretty much tells you Jones art has a power over people. Clearly that's what's happening to her and why she was so fascinated suddenly. Why it takes longer to affect Scott I don't know, but even he succumbs to the allure.

2. Douchebag guy decides it is okay to leave his wife alone with no car in the woods with crazy scarecrow guy just so he can talk to a bunch of people he could wikipedia or snapchat with.

Well he's making a documentary, so snap chatting or wikipeding would not be appropiate what so ever.

Also, didn't really have reason to believe yet he'd hurt her. At this point he was just a weirdo whose worst crime was stealing their backpack.

3. Silly woman with nice rack decides she is going to explore at night around crazy scarecrow guy and suddenly has no fear whatsoever.

Yeah, again, power of the Jones, pretty clearly stated.

4. Dude goes back to house, down into basement and into catacombs and out of walkie range knowing he could easily get lost and get caught by scarecrow guy.

Yes, for the same reasons listed before.

People in real life don't have the supernatural screwing with their head.

'I don't make deals with someone pointing a gun at me.'
'A principle?'
'A Habit.'
