Does anyone know of similar movies?

Female coming of age story
Comedic overtones but darker undertones
Perhaps (not necessarily) has a surprise at the end that adds dramatic weight or commentary of some sort.

(I'm not saying this movie is a great movie. I think it's average at best, but I''m looking for movies that do similar things to it but does it better.)

Looking for Mr. Goodbar

A much better movie with a powerful ending, that unlike Ask Me Anything, fits very well the film.
