I thought this was a comedy?

Is it? Is it all a joke? I mean, the trailer, omg

Just watched all the trailers and the whole thing smells beyond fishy. There's enough evidence in that new theatrical trailer to suggest this is nothing more than a direct-to-video desert noir with a decent cast that were probably paid well. If it gets into theatres AT ALL, it will be because Chopra or his distributors four-wall themselves, or book it into a handful of arthouses (which frequently book less-than worthy programmers in the guise of indie art) by themselves. The Cameron/Cuaron trailers (which I suspect Chopra supervised because of his big score) are dubious, and reek of pros turning favours for the little guy (who just happens to be big in India). Otherwise, this is cable filler, the kind of movie many of its cast members have been cranking out for years now while taking smaller roles in Big Studio fare. rarely producing something that would stand up to a wide theatrical release.
