Every table Michelin table

Shouldn't every table be a Michelin table? As l though the movie overall wasn't nearly as compelling as Chef, at least the guy said "do what we do," when the critics finally came into the restaurant. I hate the idea of the best being saved for critics. Seems counterproductive.

That said, they could have done a lot more to make this movie worth the watch. Shame good food was really so bad.

I highly doubt the Michelin judges really stick to such a specific routine that the chefs know its them when they come. Makes sense to be more undercover, maybe go as a tourist in shorts and a t-shirt because after all the reviews should reflect the experience for the average customer.

You would not get into a Micheline rated restaurant if you were wearing jeans and a t-shirt. The 'average' customer at a Micheline rated restaurant is not the average tourist or person on vacation.

I thought the whole Michelin thing was ridiculous - like the person above said, the whole point is to be undercover so they can observe usual practice... so the idea that they have a set routine that the chefs can easily spot would be counterproductive... However, even if they DID and DO have such a routine, the idea that some random software salesmen from another part of the country would unwittingly duplicate it EXACTLY, just so the movie can create a false crisis, is ridiculously unbelievable!
