It's supposed to be ominous that it's a huge organization. You figure if the guy at the end is paying $100 for that story and just finished watching one that I'm assuming also cost $100 then it's a pretty profitable thing. Plus the sheer number of stories that were on the site. So you're supposed to think its a pretty big business.

shareMaybe something that occurs in this manner, but I can't see how a site showing real deaths like this would stay active for very long. There are too many variables that are involved. Multiple people who I doubt would always be able to cover their tracks, hacking into too many computers that would undoubtedly leave some sort of trace at some point, etc. From what I've read, some sites on the deep web that merely do things like illegally sell and ship marijuana have eventually been taken down, so I can't see how some site like this wouldn't eventually be taken down as well.
shareWith the proper planning, they could move the site around when needed. Some countries I think have no internet laws and are more or less untouchable. If im wrong At the very least, they exist, and like demonoid or tpb eventually , temporarily get taken down

It's basically Hostel with an internet connection and not having to do any of the dirty work yourself. Same as Hostel, we aren't sure how many people are involved. All we know is that it's a lot. They're obviously working on a global scale since the ending showed them starting to go after Brianne. Elizabeth talked to her about her research earlier on in the film. She is in the UK.
shareexactly, plus what type of people involved. remember one of the police officer was one of the den member. he took the phone evidence and left the crime scene. and noone even cared for that. he didnt report anyone his whereabouts. maybe there are FBI guys also doing that and who knows who else.

There was no hint to how many or where they came from in this film so it's anybody's guess.
