It's kind of typical for this movie (minor spoilers!)

Joe clears his father's debts to Vincent and swears to go straight, stop dealing drugs and run a straight club. So instead of going to a bank to seek a loan for his proposed cooking show, he immediately seeks out gangster Bobby, to try and put the squeeze on him. 🐭
