FINALLY finished the series!!

First off, I'm a HUGE fan of the original series. As a kid I watched 'Star Blazers', both the first and second series and I even re-watched the Comet Empire series just a few years ago, so when I heard about this show and saw the footage of this updated version of the series I knew I had to watch it.

I had bought the first 4 volumes when they were released in the States under the title of 'Star Blazers 2199'. However that company stopped after vol. 4 and I believe it went out of business. For years I was stuck, enable to finish the series. But I finally bought vol. 5-7 off eBay, they were imported from Japan. Then I bought the "Odyssey of the Celestial Ark" movie, which completed the series! I've watched them all and I can say that it's an amazing show. It will stand the test of time.

I have unfortunately not been able to watch much of the series I watched most of starblazers on hulu got nearly done with the third season before hulu pulled it unfortunately it seams that everything else is impossible to find ever worse is the new series and 2199 and the soon to be released in Japan are likely to never be dubbed or even released here in the stated which does not make sense given that anime is huge here in the stayed right now. I would love nothing more than to watch everything from space battleship yamato especially the new series.
