What if it's aliens that cause a herpes like virus that makes zombies because the aliens are angry for us causing global warming?

Weaponized virus. But it's just movie about people in relationsh_ts 3/10.

reply

What was interesting to me is that although this was a virus, it behaved more like a chemical weapon. The way it killed people on the spot, and made them choke a bit before dying, really gave it a chemical weapon vibe.

reply

It wasn't a virus. It was biological warfare

Absolutely dreadful film, lol....an utter failure.

Yeah...I didn't like it much ~

reply

Yeah. The plot just seemed very pointless, and none of the characters were remotely interesting. It was hilarious that it was presented as some very heavy handed "deep" film but it was just truly awful. Its been a while since I've seen a film this pointless.

There was a war in the Middle East and someone over there used it. Just because Andy helped develop it, doesn't mean that it was his weapon. the middle east has brilliant scientists too.

But he sure knew all about it and how to save yourself.

reply

The event was the eruption of The US declaring Biological Warfare upon the Middle East. The reason it was significant is because Andy made the warfare possible and he was the character that linked ALL the other characters together. The actor who plays Andy is the star by being the protagonist and antagonist at the same time.

reply

Where did you get the impression that it was the US that started the biological war? I only skipped through the movie quickly, but although the American Andy developed the virus, I thought it was one of the warring factions in the Middle East that actually used it.

reply

That is exactly why I assumed it was the US that unleashed it, because the US developed the weapon. If not, then I must ask, why would the middle eastern militia unload a weapon of such a deadly indiscriminate caliber on their own territory? No political argument or agenda in my thought. Just common sense.

reply

I thought about why would the Middle East unload the weapon too and be the first to suffer the consequences and then, again, I realized - it's the Middle East (not afraid to die and taking as many casualties as you can while doing it). Jmo.

reply

That's why Andy was meeting with the attorney- he sold the secret weapon for ALOT of money to some Middle East muckety-muck because his daughter was sick. The ME then used it against their people and the trade winds blew it our way. Totally feasible, BTW....
