How can she play his mother? She is six years older than him? So sad! The age thing against women in Hollywood has to stop. Look at what happened to Maggie Gyllenhall. Was told she was too old to play the love interest of a 55 year old. Ridiculous!
shareJennifer is in some extremely heavy old age prosthetic makeup for the part of the film where Cillian Murphy plays the son. She's her own age when a child actor is playing that character. Half the film takes place 20 years after the other half.
Though I do agree that women over 35 get a serious short shrift in Hollywood, where as dudes just keep getting to play opposite the young ladies.
