Just one (birdy) thing that's been driving me nuts

If I had a nickel for every time Mohave, the red-tailed hawk who is adult Ivan's number-one bird, has been misidentified both by bloggers and by professional reviewers as a falcon, I could retire, right now, as a moderately well-to-do old crank.

Young Ivan's Inti is a peregrine falcon (and ten-year-olds simply have peregrine falcons, yeah-sure, you betcha! Just go to PetSmart and pick one out! They're there right next to the parakeets!). Adult Ivan's bird is a red-tailed hawk. Completely different birds, completely different sizes and builds, completely different flight styles.

Just hadda vent....
