Just an OK movie, worthy for the acting, though.

I think it was a OK movie after all, I respect who says that it was confusing for all the backward scenes, but to me it was very clear that they were just Ivan’s memories. Anyway… In my opinion, the movie is not good enough because it wasn't conclusive at the end, I never really understood what the moral was, I mean, Ivan was right then?, he was just a collateral effect in his mother life?, she never apologized to her son, just because she touched his head he felt relieved?, or all he needed was to tell her that he never wanted his brother to die?, everything forgotten and forgiven, just because of that?, and also the magical healing was real?, or it was just an excuse for Nana to abandon her son, those loose ends were the things that made me no to consider this movie a good one, but overall the story is entertaining, and the acting is pretty good.

I think she realized that sorry wasn't going to cut it. She gave him the white stone as perhaps a way to start again, since you really can't go back.
