Charlie Hunnam for John Constantine

I think Hunnam would make an excellent John Constantine.

Thoughts???

reply

I think so too, and it wouldn't surprise me if he gets to play the role. Now that he's the lead role in GDT's Pacific Rim and stars in his new film I certainly bet he's already been eyed by GDT to star as John Constantine in this film.

Neither the definition of them cents it better shut.

reply

I second that. He'd be perfect for the role.

reply

Well Charlie Hunnam has apparently said that GDT is intending to put him in everything he does now (in the English language anyway). Don't see the attraction, myself, but they are the ones who would be working together.

But given that intent, I think it is quite likely that GDT's references to a blonde Constantine etc, were likely with Charlie Hunnam in mind. Shame that, because for all that he is blonde and British, I think there are many who would fit the bill much better.

hunnam has the worst london accent. which is no doubt the accent they're going to use. doubt he could do a scouce accent either. check out his scenes in green street hooligans. his accent almost ruined the whole movie.

I actually quite like him as an actor. just not in British roles. Thought he was good in sons too, until he turned into a biker version of Luke Skywalker.

reply

Good actor but does not fit Constantine at all, physically and personality wise. Matt Ryan did the role justice.

Keanu Reeves!

reply

Reeves wasn't Constantine. He was just some American d-bag with the same name.

Nah, someone like Colin Ferrell or Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

James Marsters as John Constantine...this should've happened.
