Freeman couldn't even be bothered to fake a terrible british accent
LOL! What does
that have to do with anything? WHY would he need a fake British accent? The movie was
not set in medieval England. None of the other non-UK actors had British accents, which was a majority of the cast.
It seems you had some pre-conceived expectations and assumptions about this film. When they weren't met, you were disappointed. That is not the film's fault, it's yours.
This was a standard medieval/fantasy flick. For people who like these kinds of movies, it was pretty decent. But if you're looking for something special or different, look else where. This genre has been done to death. You're not going to get anything mind-blowing from a low-budget, direct-to-video movie.
And, coming to IMDb and ranting about it, isn't make a difference.
