.....then AKA Doc Pomus will absolutely kill you! Great archive material and different renditions of his greatest stuff by famous and obscure artists.....a don't miss/must see. The story of John Lennon singing "Save the Last Dance...." acappella in an upper Westside Manhattan supermarket on the spur of the moment to Doc's daughter is ABSOLUTELY priceless!

"20 Feet From Stardom" was a revelation!

Merry Clayton, a black woman singing on the studio recording of "Sweet Home Alabama", a song that was adopted as a redneck anthem by some. Oddly all of Lynyrd Skynyrd's live performances featured all-white backing singers.
