Looking for anything after True Detective!!

After what IMO I would say was a truly dissapointing season 2 of True Detective (which by the way I thought would be like a GOT or Ray Donovan in that you knew you would get an entertaining episode every time) I am looking for something to get my interest for HBO this summer so far.
The story does look very interesting and I'm hoping for a good mini-series in which HBO is known for doing very well. Personally I don't think Oscaar Isaac is very good but he has his moments and he does play a New Yorker well as we have seen in other films (notably , A Most Violent Year, which IMO was bad but he was good as a NYer). I like how they will do 3 weekends of 2 he shows to keep you interested and not drag it out to long (especially if it isn't for ones liking). Looking forward to this one !!!
Anything will be better than the mess they called True Detective this season. Please restore my faith HBO !!! Lol

It seems like a great show to migrate to after TD2 starting a week after the finale. It has great cast and writer/producer combo too just like TD. If you haven't already seen Simon's work go look up some of his shows like The Wire, Treme and Generation Kill. I have no doubt this will be a great show and can't wait for it to air.
