So the lesson dear Children of Britain is.....

.....the lesson is when fighting a war against a ruthless enemy whose entire motive is kill all of you is.....when you have a chance to actually destroy them, DON'T.
Because that's so immoral and icky.

Instead let them go so they can kill/suck dry a few more people and friends.

Talk about defeatism. Sums up modern Britain really.

End of season one missing scene:

Tom 'it's wizards vs aliens! whatever it takes!
Benny: 'oh! right! I'll upload another virus into the nekross ship then. It worked last time.'
Tom: 'Er...whatever it takes. Apart from that.'

It's a confused moral message, because if this was a doctor who story, that's exactly what he'd have done

As a show geared towards children, it's understandable why the show espouses non-violent solutions. However, as an adult watching the show, it is incredibly frustrating watching all the crap these wizards are going through, all because Benny had a moral crisis about destroying their ship in season one. All wizard deaths from that point onward are his fault. Hearing "You're a genius, Benny" every episode is annoying, knowing all the blood on his hands

Chthonic gods have set their sights on making me a slave to their ways.
