The name Holly. Off topic.

This is the 3rd made for TV movie I've watched in the last 24 hours where the female lead is named Holly. I think writers need to branch out a little. Mary, Belle, Joy, Candy, Ginger, Carol, Eve... All are names used less frequently, maybe not Eve and Carol as much as the others, but still have a holiday ring to them.

Would you excuse me? I cut my foot before and my shoe is filling up with blood.

We must have watched the same movies, b/c I noticed the same thing. I'm watching a Lifetime one now called "Holly's Holiday," and I believe the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie on Sunday was "Christmas with Holly." I watched one earlier this week with a character name Eve and there's another Hallmark one where the character's name was actually Krissy Kringle. lol

I am a Christmas movie lover, but I don't think I've ever seen that name used so many times.

Yep, we've watched the same ones. I watch them all; my DVR isn't big enough to keep up. I know I've seen the Krissy Kringle one too, but don't recall which one it was.

What's your favorite this year? I would say Love at the Christmas Table has been one of the better ones I've seen.

lol, mine isn't either. The better ones for me (so far) are Naughty and Nice (pretty funny), The Merry In-laws, and All About Christmas Eve. I have the 'Christmas Table' one on my dvr, but I missed like the first half hour and it's not scheduled to come on again. Boo. I'm going to watch anyway.

I think The Mistle-tones and The Christmas Song were the only "musical" movies this year. The Mistle-tones was a lot better than TCS.

Yeah, THS had some plot holes.

I enjoyed The Merry In-Laws and know I saw the other, but don't remember it right now.

I agree. A woman at our church had a baby girl recently and named her Noel. I thought it was more of a masculine name but it seems to fit her.

I've never heard of Noel for a girl, but I have heard of Noelle. I like both!
