Advance Screening

Attended the Shaw/Movie Central/HBO Canada advanced screening last night in Vancouver where the audience saw Episodes 1 & 2 of Sensitive Skin - loved it. Smart writing in this Canadian adaptation (set and filmed in Toronto), that both the "over 50" and "under 50" audience members laughed at, although I'm sure for different reasons.
Kim Cattrall and Don McKellar attended and were interviewed after the screening. Really looking forward to seeing the rest of the series (which starts on HBO Canada Sunday, July 20).
Cattrall, as executive producer, explained the long story of how they first approached HBO in the U.S. (who backed out - their loss, Canada's gain!). Several Canadian producers signed on quickly, Don McKellar too, and the Canadian adaptation was started.
