Good if you don't hold on to close to the original
Was pleasantly surprised by this. It was given away as a freebie at the local library (not a good sign, I know) but it made me laugh. The humor is family friendly, not too "kiddie" even if they're the main target. Reminded me of a lot of the stuff I used to watch growing up.
Of course I watched the original 30's Rascals and 94 version both in the 90's when I was growing up so my perspective is a bit different to those that had more time to become attached to the original.
Either way I say give it until at least the 30 minute mark to see if you like it.

I'd love to see you in the moonlight with your head thrown back and your body on fire.
