Amazing

I didn't know it was possible to video tape a school play and pass it off as a feature length movie. The same actors are re-used between "skits" and the plane cockpit was built by the school janitor. They could only afford uniforms for the top half of the flight crew actors, at one point the camera pans down and you can see the illusion is broken as one of them is wearing a pair of blue jeans and the other bermuda shorts and flip flops.

After i paid 10 dollars to rent this I went out and got *beep* faced to try and drown my pain.

Yeah it definitely should have stayed as a play or piece of performance art of some kind. It simply doesn't work as a movie, especially one you pay for. Luckily I found it on netflix for free, I would have been very annoyed to have payed $10 for this 'movie'.

Movies like this (one setting, only a few actors, etc) can work if the writing and acting is superb. This had real world convos (which are boring), and awful actors. Like I said, if it's something live and short you would give it a passing grade, but as a movie it just doesn't work...

To paraphrase the great Zoidberg, it's called moving pictures...so move.

The static set was ridiculous. Agree with OP 100% as to quality and feel.

But I give the actors some props for their acting, especially the Peru airlines skit, they were good enough to get some suspension of disbelief going and engrossed me in that scene.

The set looked actually a little more like a failed diorama, i could build a better set with a 100 bucks and a trip to Ace Hardware.

Agree on all accounts. Just to note though, the 'it's moving pictures so things should be moving' quote was actually from Bruce Lee decades before Zoidberg. As much as I love him and his aging movie star relative, they were referencing Mr. Lee in that episode (which is a great one)...

Thanks for the reference, I had no idea they were giving kudos to Bruce Lee in that episode.
