shareThey went for nostalgia route by rebooting the old story with the new (follows the same pattern) while switching hero's gender, adding a bunch of women to the mix, and made the jedi more feminist friendly by turning the men into emotional soy boys and female empowerment. Combine those and then you got a reboot of A New Hope. :p
