Watched it again, it actually WORSE than I remember

Literally the most moronic film ever made, the Mary Sue is a disgrace to cinema.

reply

I don't mind it , fast paced , decent story, I dont really care for this Mary sue argument, doesn't bother me, good star wars movie 7 out of 10

rofl.

I've only seen it once. Considering I could predict most of the movie while watching it, it felt like I had already seen it far too many times and I was bored.

reply

They went for nostalgia route by rebooting the old story with the new (follows the same pattern) while switching hero's gender, adding a bunch of women to the mix, and made the jedi more feminist friendly by turning the men into emotional soy boys and female empowerment. Combine those and then you got a reboot of A New Hope. :p

reply

Its not a reboot more using the same formula and template that ANH was made

reply

and made the jedi more feminist friendly by turning the men into emotional soy boys

Because Luke was so hyper-masculine and macho, right?

reply

It's just amazing how many people Can be so hypercritical of the prequels while simultaneously mind f*cking themselves into not holding Jar Jar's live action fan fiction reboot to a similar standard.

reply

The prequels were masterpieces compared to what Disney has done.

Misogynist trolling sock account used to complain about women and Star Wars.

What's funny is that the person behind the account probably thinks he's not a misogynist because it's all just a joke... But he is. If he wasn't, he wouldn't want to spread this message, even as a joke.

He just denies it to himself to make himself feel better.

Frog the resident NPC going all last resort.

In all honesty i think the third act of this movie is pretty much the best Star Wars to ever exist.
When they met Han and Chewie though it got worse all down to mediocre.
