How come Finn got the extra ' N ' ?

He was FN-2187 so he should have just been called ' Fin '. And what did the ' FN ' stand for anyway ?

reply

Well the 'i' wasn't there to begin with either. Could've been Fan, or Fen, or Fun, or Fine, or anything like that. And Finn is how it's more often spelled when used as an actual name I think

reply

Finn is a proper name "fin" is part of a fish.

Or "the end" in French.

reply

Or " sock puppet " in troll.

reply

Fuck off, hunchback.

reply

Same sideways sock puppet stooge.

reply

PC agenda. Lizard people who control Hollyweird trying to make you think 'N's are cool. Or it'some hipster affectation like people who claim their name is "Davvid". Or something.

reply

The extra N is for...Nerfherder

reply

It's short for "Finnish him!". Which we all hope will happen someday soon. He's a loud mouthed black thug. And can't act.

reply

Nerdy shit here, but FN is derived from the stormtrooper serial number system, eg. TK-421 from ANH. The film makers probably just gave him FN so it can later lead to him being named Finn by Poe.

reply

He's a Finn from Finland, evidently.
