While I didn't think it was the greatest movie ever made, I do think it was pretty good. I really liked the relationship between the two teens. I do however think there were a lot of loose ends, like who was the black guy? Did he raise Millarca's daughter after she disappeared? Carmillia said she was familiar with him. Why were they in such a hurry to get to Charleston? Were they thieves running away? Those are the things that didn't really make sense.
shareI didn't really care for this movie. Just watched on Netflix, I was expecting a vampire story but there wasn't one. Other than the name Carmilla Karnstein there wasn't anything familiar. Just lesbians with a weird blood fetish and a deranged husband/father who couldn't handle being alone.
shareI liked it well enough. But, I felt like the end was unfinished. It explained nothing. I wanted the drifter to come back to life, or truly be a vampire after all. Too many loose ends. I came here looking for trivia, or answers or something. Nothing. :(
