The Audience Sucked...

It seemed like they were too young to understand many of the references. Sine when were the majority of Eddie Murphy's fans white girls under 30? It looked like most of them were seat fillers hired by Central Casting.

Eddie didn't even look as though he wanted to be there... Some of the stuff came off as very awkward and poorly planned.

Eddie trying to leave his seat when singing with STEVIE WONDER!! What has happened to the guy?

And at the end when they tried to coax him onto the stage to do a little off the cuff stand up, he just said "woahhh I'm all eddied out, g'night y'all thanks for comin'" Boom, bye.. *beep* ya very much.

Very poor show.

You'll never hit me with a bullet that slow...

I agree.
Eddie says he's a bitter man and isn't easily moved. Well, he really didn't seem moved by the show. The characters on the stage didn't really seem they liked Eddie or respected him. It almost made me ask why did they make this show to begin with.
Also the blonde woman next to Eddie seemed uncomfortable; she didn't seem to really understand what was going on in the show.
