I'm a HUGE Eddie Murphy fan, but this was self-indulgent crap. It was more like a funeral with people eulogizing him. How could a show with so many funny people be so boring?
This was two hours of people kissing Eddie's ass, cut-aways to his bimbo girlfriend and showing movie clips anyone could see by simply going on Youtube.
Chris Rock was the only one who made it interesting. Had the speakers roasted him it would've been great.
I'm not sure if the arm candy was a rental or just fresh off the turnip truck. I don't think she understood half the references made thst night. She just sat there looking confused when StevieWonder started singing To Be Loved.

Eddie has always had good taste in women (drag queens aren't women by the way). lol However, she did seem to not know when to laugh and would look at Eddie to know when and if it was OK to laugh. Talk about submissive. At first I thought she Heidi Klum. lol Hmm..maybe that is what he really wants?? The Stevie Wonder bit was the most entertaining. Tracy Morgan's gut as the least appealing part. ack!
A funeral eulogizing Eddie! You are right. They were mostly dressed in black suits with black ties! It did look like a funeral.
And what was that with a bar on the stage? That was a weird stage decoration.
She made me thought about the "Brooke Shileds" bit he made in one of his shows.
