Sue me, I enjoyed it!

I'm a huge fan of the original Fright Night. I had high hopes for the remake(2011) & was left feeling very underwhelmed. It was pretty much everything i hoped it would not be. Now here comes this supposed sequal(2nd remake) & all the reviews made me feel reluctant to watch it. The trailer itself was ok, but didn't make me excited for it. Anyway, so i decided to give it a go & to my surprise i found it to be a fun movie! now..ok, it's not a great movie by any means. I can see where all the criticism comes from. I feel if you just look it as another re-imagining(or even stand alone) that it works. It's no worse than half the other crap that gets released(including theatrical). It's gory, sexy, good location/atmosphere. I love the legend of Elizabeth Bathory so that was a plus! overall, i prefer this to the 2011 remake. Anyone else? thoughts? opinions? etc...
