Continuity error (spoilers)

Did anyone else notice that when Charley's friend was a vampire and fighting Peter in the bathroom, he gets the left side of his face majorly burned from the cross tattoo. Yet, a few scenes later we see him again, but it's the right side of his face that is scarred.

Did I miss something? I feel I must have. How could they possibly have made such a large error?
