Are the "skits" staged using actors?

Some of the skits seem to be staged using actors.

When you are watching the clips - ask yourself: Where is the camera? Some of the camera angles just seem to not be practical for hidden cameras.

It's possible. Other wise they could be on location all day. Trying to get perfect reactions from people, and editing out the ones that didn't work. Plus the time it takes to reset the prank and give enough time for people who saw the last attempt to leave. And don't forget, having to get the people to sign a legal release for the show to use their face on tv.

It would certainly be faster and cheaper to simply hire a few locals to be the "victims". But it could be on the level. I don't know.

I've been watching some clips on YouTube and I don't know if it's real or not. I doubt that it's 100% real but some of it might be.

I saw one show tonight and I also wondered if it wasn't staged. On this one they had a woman sitting in a restaurant with a hairy chest and hairy underarms with all these men giving stunned and shocked reactions (I can't remember if there were any women in the scenes). I had a transsexual friend who was 6'3" and looked 'manly' and while people would stare at her, but only for a few seconds, then they would go on about their business. They didn't react like those in this show. They would try to be more subtle than what was shown in this scenario.

And I would think in Canada people would just shrug off a transsexual. Maybe not in rural Mississippi but most certainly in Canada.

Thing is, AFAIK the show is filmed in Montreal, or Quebec at the very least, and French Canadians can explain both the reactions, and the "laugh track". I've known quite a few of them, and this show just screams French Canada. Personally, I can't stand it, complete garbage IMO.
