Nothing special, but it's better than the series

The first series was average at best and the feature is actually a bit better, which doesn't say a whole lot but better than nothing I guess.

The first hour of Housos vs. Authority was kinda enjoyable, shame about the last 40 minutes which was just extremely poor without even one real good, memorable or funny scene.

Other than that I have to give kudos to Jabba and Murray Harman (an underrated actor who isn't even on the credits in this IMDb entry page) who did a great job in this one and stood out from all the rest of the cast.

Overall I'd rate Housos vs. Authority as a 6 out of 10 film and I feel I'm being quite generous.

P.S - Fenech, what the hell is the deal with the non-stop footage of feet/shoes?!

I'd definitely agree with it being better then the series. The only point I'd make is that though Fenech has come a long way, nothing can top Pizza..

There's no question about the fact that Fenech has an amazing story behind him, from a studio sweeper to a producer/director/writer who creates series and films that became kinda successful and made a good revenue? That's outstanding! Just a shame for the past 5 years his material is quite far from being highly entertaining.

It was a lot better and funnier than I expected. It was very good for an Australian comedy
