I had a chance to read this script, and this guy Fran (who played The Stoner in "Cabin in the Woods", and stole the whole flick practically), plays the main character in this one, opposite Nikki Reed & Greg Kinnear (who's going to be Awesome in it also.) Fran's friendly but offbeat onscreen energy is going to take him far. He's seriously on his way UP. And this flick might be a runaway weirdo sleeper hit.

Pffft, my suspension of disbelief has higher standards than that.
Ditto. Both the character and his portrayal thereof are pathetic. This movie should've been watchable despite the silly screenplay - Greg Kinnear and J.K. Simmons - Kranz sunk the whole thing with an amateurish performance.
