If people hate Adam Sandler's Movies. Why do they watch his films.

I mean if I go into a Hardware store I expect them to sell me tools. But I don't go in the next day demanding they sell me a Lamborghini or for them to have one for sell. When I go see a Adam Sandler movie I don't expect highbrow entertaining. Only expect stupid juvenile raunchy humor some movies being better than others. Anyone expecting more are just going to be disappointed. Frankly thought this was better than some of Sandlers other movies. Its was lightyears better than Jack and Jill. Hell i thought it better than Grown Ups 1&2, That's My Boy, The Cobbler and even Pixils. At most i give this movie a 6 or 7. I mean its not even close to the worst comedy ive ever seen.

Some people have been Adam fans going way back. he has made some of my favorite comedies ever. Right around Mr Deeds he started hanging south. In between he had some better movies. I liked Click for example. Chuck and Larry was pretty good. And a few others sprinkled in. I even liked Pixels and Grown Ups 2 (not great but ok enough). Like the Hotel Transylannvia's. But being a Sandler fan is hard these days. He has more turkeys than good movies. I feel almost embarrassed to recommend one of his movies to watch with others....it is like watch them by myself. I really really really feel the Ridiculous 6 was one of his biggest turkeys ever. Is there something wrong with saying that? Can we not criticize a Sandler film without being labeled a troll?

I don't watch his films the few bits and bobs ive seen don't attract me one bit,I did start to watch that one ...where he was a hairstylist or something,think it was just after zoolander came out.....awful...terrible couldn't watch for longer than 5 minutes, im just on this board checking out the comments on his latest failure,and there does seem to be a lot of negativity toward it.

In my humble opinion from what ive read I take it he has a small box of tricks which hes pulled out one too many times ,the audience is now bored of it and require something else in his films, maybe depth of characters or plot.

And the point about why do people watch his films, well I think some part of them are fans, but are hoping he is going to wake up to the fact before hes not able to make any more films that he will need to pull something different out of the hat.

Im sure its not the worst comedy ever...but how long till his films go straight to dvd then to the bargain bin? I notice hes got a few pricey cast members in this too....he wont have that opportunity from the bargain bin.

My counterpoint would be that many people DON'T watch his films.

I couldn't get past the first 10 minutes of this one.
His last one that was decent was the Zohan one, that i'm aware of, but admittedly, i'm not keeping a close tally.

TORRENTS! You can watch movies today without having to pay sh!t.

I've seen a couple of good movies by Sandler - Little Nicky, the other one with Terry Crews, etc.
I've seen a couple of horrible movies by Sandler - i forgot their names, one is with him and a little boy, one with him playing his twin, etc.

Most of his movies are bad. But since I want to watch new comedies, I watched the trailer for Ridiculous 6, expecting it to be another bad movie by Sandler.
It turned out to be quite hilarious. That was some mystical sh!t.

I am not a fan of Adam Sandler really... I don't enjoy many of his comedies BUT with that being said, I know what kind of comedy I enjoy and this was funny. It wasn't Hilarious, but I chucked and thoroughly enjoyed it.
