Wow. What a disappointment.

This show may be aimed more at adults than children, but fail on Nickelodeons part to cast Jerry Trainor knowing full well children were going to want to watch it. Not to mention it's only rated PG. They put the ads on during other Nickelodeon line up shows that kids are watching. They knew kids were going to want to watch. It's disturbing having a Nick show referencing porn, underage drinking, drugs, and prostitution. Thumbs way DOWN on this one.

Clearly the world is going to end. Good lord people, Nick has been doing all that since the 90's, it only became a cry situation now. Get over it, the show is pretty good.

I'm far from a prude, and even I am pretty surprised at the boundaries they are pushing with this show. The whole krystle pot/prostitution references made me question whether I was watching adult swim.

Maybe it's just me but the writing feels flat compared to a good Disney show. The adult jokes feel forced and I don't think Trainor fits in at all. The show won't make it carrying such a split identity.

Did you see the Valentine's day episode? It revolved around a CUPCAKE...and Vinnie wanting to "attach" to a girl...too inappropriate. Plus Wendell cussed.

reply

**gasp** the humanity! Call the newspapers, hold all my calls! Brew me a black coffee... Wendell cussed?!

What is this world coming to??

Next thing you know, he'll be running around beating people up. That rebel.

Yes the show has more of a "grown up" feel to it, but it also airs after 8pm, the time nick @ nite airs... so it really shouldn't come as much of a surprise. The only thing that DOES come as a surprise are the kiddie-like bumpers.

reply

Nick at nite airs starting at 10pm on Saturdays, this show airs during Nickelodeon hours and is a lead in to kids shows.

I watched the new episode last night at 6:30 pm mountain time and it was wedged in between 2 kids shows, Marvin Marvin and Supah Ninjas.

reply

So it seems like the only problem with the show is that it comes on near Supah Ninjas and Marvin Marvin. How about move Supah Ninjas to an earlier time and cancel that thing they call a TV show in Marvin Marvin. Problem solved! Wendell and Vinnie rocks!

Revenge is...underrated, because that felt awesome.

reply

It needs to air at a later time and with the Nick at Night shows. But I agree that Marvin Marvin is horrible and needs to be cancelled.

reply

Damn is a very mild curse, kids on xbox say worse. This is hardly the first time either, it was used in the spongebob movie and Disney used the word jackass in Even stevens.

The cupcake part...You are reading too much into something innocent.

I've only seen two episodes, but I will admit I was surprised at some of the adult themes for a nick show. Maybe the show just hasn't found its footing yet. I think it should be grouped with those hot in Cleveland type nick shows. I will stick with it as I do like the actors, I just hope the writing improves a bit

but it's a Nick at NITE show not a Nickelodeon show.

but its not a nite at night. at least, it wasnt when i saw it. it was sandwiched inbetween two shows geared for kids. i still dont mind the show, but it needs to define who its target audience is.
