How did you like those flying skills? Backwards and sideways?

I decided to watch this film even though I didn't know too much about it, enjoying the kids vs wild movies when I was a child.

A few cringe scenes towards the beginning involving some of the actors but I was impressed that the director didn't make it overly cheesy. I got to the point where the plane randomly combusted. Suddenly it all fell apart for me. The scenes where they showed the two kids scared, you could see in the background (through the window) they messed up the green screen footage. They showed that the plane was flying sideways (left and right at the same time lol) a bunch and for the final part they showed that it finally was flying completely backwards.

Normally I am not too bothered by those mistakes (it's a kids movie) but these were overly shown understanding they forgot to get stock footage of the left and right of a flying plane and only did from the front. It was just plain stupidity that the showed the footage backwards like they were flying backwards.

However, I'm sure they could have fixed it instead of just saying 'oh its just dumb American kids, they won't notice it'. People have to realize editors actually see each detail on every scene and it's clear they saw the mistake. This may not be the case but now days there are more kids movies like this. Ever since technology advanced, anyone can pick up a camera and make a movie.

Sadly, they just don't make em like they used to, kids films specifically.

The plane is also rolling, this causes the horizon to raise and lower as one looks out the window. I put the shots in myself and and I think I did a pretty good job.
