In most countries other than US, it's quite common to have an occasional glass of wine during pregnancy. It's becoming much more accepted in the US now, though. My OB said a glass a week is perfectly fine, although the smell has kept me from it during both of my pregnancies.

You mean, other countries wonder why the US can't match them in IQ.
I mean, you know what else isn't safe... not vaccinating your population against covid, not wearing facemasks to stop spreading viruses during a global pandemic, spending more on military than public health, not having a healthcare system that isn't run as a business, allowing kids to bring guns into schools instead of critical thinking.
THAT isn't safe...
Also, having an essentially 2 party voting system that allows people to get in because the other lot are worse instead of forcing them both to be better, having a voting system that enables the 12 most populous states govern the other 38 even though the other 38 comprise more voters, having a voting system that actively bars US colonies from voting at all.
None of that matters, nope... a glass of wine while pregnant is the real issue in America. That's the biggest social issue they face right now!!!
