Who uses a tape player in 2015.

Who?

Judging from the makes of cars, desktop computer & tape deck, this film is set in the early 1990's.

It's not set in the early 90s. Adam removes a cellphone from his pocket to call the cops at one point. It wasn't a smartphone of today's era, but it wasn't the ancient phone of the 90s either. It was one of those that we commonly used between 2005-2010, so I guess the movie was set around then.

Or it could still be set in 2015, maybe he just preferred having a cellphone with a keypad.

Welcome to Ireland in 2015.

Yeah they didn't do a good job of explaining the time it was set. At least i didn't see anything showing when it took place. Unless that part about Greece and Ireland in the beginning was supposed to be a hint of that.

Anyone driving 90s-era car.

I mean, really, how many times will you look under Jabba's manboobs?

Starlord.

His car was old. Older cars still had tape decks and a radio as the only music-playing device in the dashboard.

In 2006 I still had a 90's car that could only play cassette tapes.

It's a sane product to use
