Did anyone else actually like this?

I thought it was decent. Not bad, not great. Maybe 6.5 out of 10. I thought it could have been better had it relied more on build-up and developing the atmosphere of the locale and the nature of the legends of fairy-folk. Instead, it relied too much on jump scares and an action-packed fight-for-survival mode early on with creatures that sound like raptors. But the tension between the family vs. the creatures and of becoming one of the creatures was effective.

My boyfriend and I loved it. I really liked that it was a dark fairy tale meets body horror.

How was it complicated? It was fairly straightforward. I enjoyed it. A little slow in the beginning but the end made up for it.

I liked the movie, I've seen enough horror to know there are really crappy movies out there but this one was pretty good, I saw it on netflix and to me it was pretty solid compared to most horror films on netflix. Other horror movies I've seen on netflix lately that are pretty good are Hush and The Invitation.

I liked it. I liked the characters, by horror movie standards I'd say their stupidity was pretty minimal.

I also like how the woman trusted her husband at the end.

I thought it was really good, very creepy. The hand coming through the floor trying to poke out her eye was really horrific. This film is a hidden gem.

I like it and I like the concept of a fairy tale based horror film, it's not usual. But it certainly could've been better. I loved Benjen Stark btw!
