Better than expected...

I'm a huge American Psycho fan (although past writing all my IMBD posts as Patrick Bateman quotes). I didn't expect to like this movie. Twenty minutes in I was practically screaming at how derivative this film was.

Then I started watching it. And enjoying it. The inside look at the recording industry of the nineties was interesting. I really LIKE Nicholas Hoult, whose performance in this reminded me more of Ewan MacGregor's in Trainspotting than Christian Bale's in America Psycho.

I think it's worth watching. 7 out of 10.
