So, for those that have seen the stage show I have a question. Knowing that in the stage show there are no other actors, how is his cheating conveyed during "Nobody Needs To Know." Is it just seen through the lyrics like "Cathy is waiting" or does he appear to be talking to a girl in the bed? How did they convey that he was cheating on her?

There was an audible gasp when he said "We should get up kid, Cathy is waiting..." then there's that little musical riff while the news sinks in.
I personally wasn't ready for him to have cheated with MULTIPLE women. When at first they showed the secretary, my first thought was, "wait, that's not Alise". Then they show him with two other women! I thought it was a very interesting choice. It really made me dislike him.
That is what I love so much about this show, there are so many ways to play it.
the few productions I've seen had him sitting in bed with blankets/pillows propped next to him as if someone else was sleeping there.
