Some musicals just can not translate to film. Kendrick and Jordan give amazing performances but the story is just incredibly boring on film. The cinematography is beautiful as well, but nothing could save this film from the story.
shareI disagree. I think it's a great, while tragic, story. Did you get that her story and songs are told in reverse and his are not? It's an incredibly sad and common story.
