Was that Alex at the end?

So something I cannot find anywhere online. SPOILERS At the end at Grandma Lois' house they stumble upon a blonde girl locked in a cage who asks them to help her get out of here. We never see her again. I am almost 100% sure that was Alex from the previous film. That poor girl was in that house and we never learned her fate. I think she is being held by the witches. It may not be the same actress but I think its the same character.
