Poor Attention to Detail

Regarding the episode: Hitler and the Spear of Destiney. Doesn't the production company have Subject Matter Experts (SME's) making sure the content being show is real as possible? I watched about 1/2 the episode and had to stop to write these comments. First, no self respecting Nazi much less Hitlerwould look like a hippie. Case in point, when the episode shows what is supposed to be Hitler coming to the Austria to pick up the spear, the actor really needed a haircut. Since the scene really didn't show the face would it have hurt to find an actor with a fresh haircut? Next, military (U.S. Army) awards, rank and decorations. The person portarying the German turned U.S. citizen and now a member of the 3rd Army and doctor of art history, is first wearing rank of a Captain of the U.S. Army and not a Lieutant as stated by the narrator. Second the way the rank is position is wrong, the bars should be paralell to the should not as show in the episode. I have also noticed in a lot of other production of the History Channel, such as an episode of Roswell, NM and the UFO's an actor supposedly being the Intel Officer who first responded is shown as a sergeant... in some cases when supposedly showing military person of the NCO rank, the stripes are upside down. Was you military technical advisor from England? Come on guys you can do better.
