How about a little expository

Or maybe a lot of it--as pedantic as you can get! I was more than a little disappointed at how little was revealed to us in TGD, so I was hoping there was some resource somewhere that could explain pretty much every supernatural event down to the last detail (and maybe some of the natural ones). I do have great respect for the series for not poisoning the realism of the whole story w/silly expository, but now that the franchise has come to a close (until maybe 40 years later when JJ Abrams Jr. makes a mess of it) I want to know about it--all of it!

The word you're looking for is exposition. Not expository.

Even if that's true, and I got expository by accident, it'd still be a lot closer to what I was looking for than pedantry.

The more important question is:

Why do you care about exposition in a group of movies which continually change their backstory to suit the current film they're attempting to sell?

They don't.

The word he is looking for is 'suppository'

It's all a deep end.
