Disappointing.

I watched Human Capital hoping to see some incisive perspectives on the economic elite of Europe.

Instead, I get a half-baked "mystery" wrapped up in a tedious soap opera. The characters are all weakly drawn and immediately forgettable except for Dino. Bentivoglio is the acting highlight of the film.

Whatever emotional impact the movie may develop is thrown away by a feel-good ending.

Were the actresses not so disarmingly lovely, I would have walked out. I would not have found out who was driving the SUV but I really didn't care.

"incisive perspectives on the economic elite of Europe".

A nouveau riche hedge fund manager? GONG! Wrong movie. You need to rethink the social strata.
