Serena and Luca's love/ soulful women and empty men

I don't buy it.

She's a gorgeous brat from a middle class family who hangs out with shallow rich kids.

He's a rough weirdo who lives with his broken uncle.

But love conquers all, right? No, not in real life. This is just the fantasy of (foremost) artistic males. If she had such depth she wound never have ended up with the likes of Massimiliano and his douchebag friends.

This *beep* is predictable at this point of film history.

And it's always the lady who has a bit of soul left in her. Serena has it, but Massimiliano hasn't. Carla has it, but Sr Bernaschi hasn't.

I still liked the film but this stuff is a minus.

She was also impulsive. That's why she also hit on the drug dealing weirdo.

He wasn't dealing druga, his uncle was.
