Were all of the main characters drinking wine at a school function? I'm not trolling, but legitly asking because that was the impression I was getting.

Good Lord, I think you are correct. That is either wine or apple juice.

It was champagne-flutes/glasses. I thought the same thing. Maybe it was sparkling cider :)

Yeah, that was most likely sparkling cider or grape juice. That's common in PG-13 settings.

of course it was lemonade. plenty of alcohol in the teacher's staff room. flasks of whiskey in drawers to cool the teachers down.
