Tyler Perry is a very bad screenplay writer.

His movies play out like bad Hallmark and Lifetime movies.

He tries to do development too much of a character in one scene at a time, and by using over-the-top cliche scenarios.

His laughs don't delivery and just awkward at times. Like the witch period story.

Direction-wise, there is a lack of visual flair and they're boring to look at.

You're never fully dressed without a smile.
