'I'll have you shot dead'

When Alex Higgins threatened to have Dennis Taylor shot dead when he returned home to Northern Ireland along with a load of other incidents weren't mentioned....headbutting referees, pissing in plant pots etc - anyway, a great show and was very impressed with the reconstruction of the 69 break against Jimmy White in the 1982 World Semi-Final, the camera work was fantastic...this should be on BBC1 or BBC2 - brilliant watch! :)

Have to agree with you, a great drama...plenty things left out, but I suppose there had to be. The reconstruction of the semi-final break v White was fantastic, it was like viewing a old masterpiece from a new angle. Some great performances and a fabulous score, certainly deserves a showing on the telly proper.,

Not to mention falling out of a second story window and breaking his ankle - and still playing a match hopping round the table with foot in a cast.

I enjoyed the film - and the recreation of the iconic 69 break against Jimmy White is brilliant - the best recreation of an actual sporting event since the movie MIRACLE.
