Help! A very similar story in a movie.

Help! I can't remember the name of the movie, nor any of the actors. I saw it just a few years ago but I don't remember if I saw it as a recent release or as an older release.

It is set at an earlier time, maybe early 1900s or even the late 1800s. A single spinster woman is deceived via letters supposedly from a man living in another region, she packs up furniture and belongings and sends them by train, only to find when she gets there that someone else had deceived her.

The movies had enough of a similar theme I thought they might have been based on the same novel or short story but apparently not. Unless the current one was a result of plagiarism.

Anyone have an idea what other movie I might have in mind?
