shareShirley Bassey didn't do it for me. All it did was point out how perfectly she did it almost 50 years ago and now she's old and can't bring in that power that was in the original.
shareI thought Dame Shirley was fab! i mean, for being 76 years old, she certainly performed pretty damn well. Let's just be thankful they used her and not one of these current performers who coulden't compare. It would have been awsome if they could have gotten Tina Turner to sing Goldeneye too!
shareSean Connery is retired from Show biz. Not sure he would even come. Daniel Craig said he was definitely not coming. That leaves Pierce Brosnan, Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton who haven't had a succesful movie in so long they probably couldn't afford the airfare.
shareWhat a great surprise to see Shirley Bassey on the stage! Just love award shows that have classic stars along w/some younger. Streisand, Fonda, Plummer, Nicholson etc.. was fabulous!
Next year how about adding glam with Cher and Raquel?
